Robin Schaeffer, Director - Robin Schaeffer has spent 35 years working in differing roles for the safety and welfare of children. 19 of those years were spent with the Head Start Program on the Cherokee Reservation with 7 of them as Director. For the past 16 years, Mrs. Schaeffer has served as the Executive Director of AWAKE, Inc. and was instrumental in setting up the Children's Advocacy Center and opening its door in September of 1993.
